Michiana Raceway Park to Host the 2nd Annual Rock Kart Spring Sprints
On March 27th, Michiana Raceway Park will host the first of four major Rock Kart championship events for the 2010 season. The Rock Kart Spring Sprints will kick of the year giving an opportunity for all racers to shake off the rust built up during the off season and enjoy the wheel to wheel action everyone has been waiting for. Each competitor will compete in identical Rock Karts with 9 h.p. Hondas that hit speeds up to 50 mph.
Michiana Raceway Park Tracside Training Day - April 3rd
On April 3rdMichianaRacewayPark will host the very first Trackside Training Day. The Trackside Training Day will serve as spring training for karters that will assist in shaking off the rust from the off season along with making strides in set up and driving on the track. MRP’s championship winning staff will be on hand the entire day for hands on chassis dynamics training and coaching. In addition to one on one chassis dynamics training and coaching, there will also be a chassis setup & data acquisition demonstration.

Tom Burke is one of those few people that gave up an 18-year career in the lumber industry to pursue his passion, a career in Motorsports. With a deep background in racing as both a driver and father who started his son in kart racing at four years old, Tom jumped on the opportunity to join the Michiana Raceway Park team as the Sales Manager and Youth Development Instructor.
Rotax Continues to Gain Momentum Within the United States!

This is an effort to provide even stronger customer support and confidence in the Rotax program.

MRP Seminar Series: All About Clutches - Clutch Rebuilds & Maintenance
On Saturday, March 6th, MRP Motorsport will be hosting their fourth seminar in their annual MRP Winter Seminar Series entitled "All about Clutches - Clutch Rebuilds & Maintenance". Next to tires, the clutch and related components are the most abused elements on your kart. This seminar will provide participants an opportunity to better understand the mechanics of the most popular clutches used in the numerous 100cc and Rotax classes. We'll address preventive maintenance, tuning, and rebuilding. This class is a must-attend for anyone new to 100cc clutch or Rotax karts. Save yourself money by knowing how to work on your own clutch!
Jupiter, Fla. (January 18, 2010) – Palm Beach International Raceway is excited to announce a partnership between their on-site karting track and MRP Motorsport. The partnership will allow MRP to operate the karting property at PBIR, and work toward the goal of the karting facility to reach its full potential within the Florida karting community.
MRP Motorsport Offering Data Acquisition Seminar on February 6, 2010
THREE OAKS, MI (January 6, 2010) - MRP Motorsport will be hosting its third seminar of the MRP Winter Seminar Series on Saturday, February 6th. The series has been instrumental in assisting both beginning and veteran karting enthusiasts in reducing the learning curve for several aspects of kart racing, including maintenance, setup and mechanical functions. In conjunction with the seminars, each Saturday will also serve as an "Open House" for the MRP retail facility with shop tours, product technical information and general customer assistance.
January 2nd - Carburetor Tuning, Maintenance & Rebuilding for Rotax & Yamaha
The second of MRP’s five winter seminars will be taking place on January 2nd covering Carburetor Tuning, Maintenance & Rebuilding for Rotax & Yamaha motors. Aimed at both beginning and veteran karting enthusiasts, MRP’s seminars are designed to assist in easing the "intimidation factor" of numerous maintenance, setup, and mechanical functions.
