Michiana Raceway Park to Host the 2nd Annual Rock Kart Spring Sprints

On March 27^th, Michiana Raceway Park will host the first of four major Rock Kart championship events for the 2010 season. The Rock Kart Spring Sprints will kick of the year giving an opportunity for all racers to shake off the rust built up during the off season and enjoy the wheel to wheel action everyone has been waiting for. Each competitor will compete in identical Rock Karts with 9 h.p. Hondas that hit speeds up to 50 mph.

Michiana Raceway Park Tracside Training Day - April 3rd

On April 3^rd Michiana Raceway Park will host the very first Trackside Training Day. The Trackside Training Day will serve as spring training for karters that will assist in shaking off the rust from the off season along with making strides in set up and driving on the track. MRP’s championship winning staff will be on hand the entire day for hands on chassis dynamics training and coaching. In addition to one on one chassis dynamics training and coaching, there will also be a chassis setup & data acquisition demonstration.

Tom Burke Joins Michiana Raceway Park

NORTH LIBERTY, IN (February 23, 2010) - Many people say that they would do anything to have a job in an industry that they have passion for, but very few actually take the risk to do so. Tom Burke is one of those few people that gave up an 18-year career in the lumber industry to pursue his passion, a career in Motorsports. With a deep background in racing as both a driver and father who started his son in kart racing at four years old, Tom jumped on the opportunity to join the Michiana Raceway Park team as the Sales Manager and Youth Development Instructor.
