Michiana Raceway Park Ready to Host World Karting Association
Michiana Raceway Park, one of the nicest kart racing facilities in the country, is heading into their third straight week of competition by hosting a World Karting Association Manufacturer’s Cup Championship event, one of the largest attended kart racing events of the year. These events routinely attract racers from all over the country to attend.
Attention racers! Below you will find valuable information regarding next weekend's combined Midwest Sprint series (www.midwestsprint.com) and MRP Championship Series event.

For the month of April, Michiana Raceway Park will be using the Track "A" National Track configuration. This track layout will be used for Great Lakes Sprint Series, Midwest Sprint Series and the WKA Manufacturer's Cup in the month of April and early May. Download a trackmap by clicking HERE. Rookie One Class
A lot of confusion has been brought about since the announcement of the bumper rule changes.
The Rookie One class at Michiana Raceway Park is not affected by any of the rule changes and will remain the same as last year.

Michiana Raceway Park Open this Weekend!
This Saturday morning at 9 a.m. Michiana Raceway Park will be open!
Supplies at the track will be limited as it is the start of the year, but the track will be open to bring your kart out and get some valuable early season practice time.
Michiana Raceway Park to Host the 2nd Annual Rock Kart Spring Sprints
On March 27th, Michiana Raceway Park will host the first of four major Rock Kart championship events for the 2010 season. The Rock Kart Spring Sprints will kick of the year giving an opportunity for all racers to shake off the rust built up during the off season and enjoy the wheel to wheel action everyone has been waiting for. Each competitor will compete in identical Rock Karts with 9 h.p. Hondas that hit speeds up to 50 mph.
Michiana Raceway Park Tracside Training Day - April 3rd
On April 3rdMichianaRacewayPark will host the very first Trackside Training Day. The Trackside Training Day will serve as spring training for karters that will assist in shaking off the rust from the off season along with making strides in set up and driving on the track. MRP’s championship winning staff will be on hand the entire day for hands on chassis dynamics training and coaching. In addition to one on one chassis dynamics training and coaching, there will also be a chassis setup & data acquisition demonstration.
NORTH LIBERTY, IN (February 23, 2010) - Many people say that they would do anything to have a job in an industry that they have passion for, but very few actually take the risk to do so. Tom Burke is one of those few people that gave up an 18-year career in the lumber industry to pursue his passion, a career in Motorsports. With a deep background in racing as both a driver and father who started his son in kart racing at four years old, Tom jumped on the opportunity to join the Michiana Raceway Park team as the Sales Manager and Youth Development Instructor.
