Rock Kart Racing League
The Rock Kart Racing League is a weekly racing series broken into three different leagues. There is a spring, summer and fall league. “Rock Karts” are 9-horsepower racing karts designed for racing and safety. Michiana Raceway Park will host a Oval Rock Kart league on Wednesday nights & a Road Course Rock Kart league on Thursday nights. Also, every tuesday will be free Rock Kart school night. MEMBERSHIP:
Membership not required. Non-members can race but are not eligible for prizes or points and pay a higher "per-race" fee. Membership is $100 or sign up with a friend for $50(2 for 1) and good for the entire year. Click HERE for the Road League flyer or HERE for the Oval League flyer to print out and fax or mail to us to register for a Rock Kart Racing League event.

RACE PROCEDURE:
Road League
 Leagues are to be held on Thursday. Registration begins at 5:00pm, practice starts at 6:00pm!
The race format is as follows:
1. 10 lap practice session
2. Draw for kart starting position & kart #
3. One 6-lap "Qualifier" race (you will start in the position you had drawn.)
4. One 6-lap "pre-final" race (you will start the next race in the position you finished in previous race.)
5. 8-lap FINAL event (start event where you finished the pre-final)
6. Accumulate points for end of series. Prizes for Top 3 championship finishers!
Oval League
Leagues are to be held on Wednesday. Registration begins at 5:00pm, practice starts at 6:00pm!
The Race format is as follows:
1. 20 lap practice session
2. Draw for kart starting position & kart #
3. One 15-lap "Qualifier" race (you will start in the position you had drawn.)
4. One 15-lap "pre-final" race (you will start the next race in the position you finished in previous race.)
5. 20 lap FINAL event (start event where you finished the pre-final)
6. Accumulate points for end of series. Prizes for Top 3 championship finishers!
RACE CLASSES:
Light and Heavy classes to keep competition fair. These classes are all eligible for season end prizes. Drivers 200 lbs + are considered heavy class drivers.

POINTS STRUCTURE:
The base structure is as follows: 1st Place = 20, 2nd = 18, 3rd = 17, 4th = 16, 5th = 15, etc.
- In addition, 1 point will be awarded for entry for that league date. This is an attempt to weight events with a large number of participation. Example: 12 entries, 1st place would receive 20 + 12 points for a total of 32 points for the event.
AWARDS / PRIZES:
The MRP Racing League provides prizes to our competitors and champions. Prizes will include t-shirts and free racing apparel as well as top awards for top season finishers.

1st - Three FREE Arrive & Drive events in the new "Step 1" racing class
2nd - Two FREE Arrive & Drive events in the new "Step 1" racing class
3rd - One FREE Arrive & Drive event in the new "Step 1" racing class
Oval League Championship Prizes
1st - Three FREE Arrive & Drive events in the new "Oval" racing class
2nd - Two FREE Arrive & Drive events in the new "Oval" racing class

On Saturday, September 18th the Third annual Rock Kart World Finals will be taking place.
We provide Kart, Fuel, Tires, Safety equpiment, and training.
